岡山市北区下足守などで１４日朝、バキュームカーから燃料用軽油が漏れ、後続車のスリップ事故が６件発生し、３人が軽傷を負った。 午前７時４０分頃、「道路に油がこぼれているようだ」と１１０番があり、岡山西署が事故現場周辺などを調べたところ、岡山市の男性会社員（４６）運転のバキュームカーから、軽油が市道と県道約１０キロにわたり漏れていたことが分かった。 同署によると、油に加え雨の影響もあり、車がスリップし、道路脇ののり面に乗り上げるなどした。バキュームカーは市内の小学校でし尿を積み込んだ後、同区の市一宮浄化センターへ向かっており、男性は軽油が漏れていたことに気付いていなかったという。同署で、原因を調べている。 油の撤去作業などのため、市道下足守長野線では、午前８時３０分頃から約３時間３０分間、通行止めとなった。
