私の息子が産まれたときの話
10:00 この日段階で予定日を10日過ぎていた。これ以上は延ばせないということでクリニックに入院開始。診察中に破水し先生方慌てるものの嫁は平常心。 診察の途中から私も参加、促進剤についての同意書にサイン、入院部屋に行く。 部屋はワンルームをやや狭くしたくらいの場所。 3人部屋だがカーテンで仕切られており、なにより今は私ら夫婦しかいない。 窮屈さはないし清潔感あって居心地悪くない。 入って早々地元訛りの助産師さんから説明、促進剤の点滴開始。まずは20mlから。 11:00 10mlずつ増加させるものの変化なし。 自体は当面は動きそうにないので、ここで一人散歩に出かける。薬局でマスク買ってファミレスでカツ煮定食を食す。アラサー、カツ煮定食のコスパに感動。 途中で胎児の心拍低下による促進剤停止という事態があり飛んで戻る。 12:00 嫁ランチ。野菜カレーとカレイの揚げ浸し、スープ、サラダ、パイ

実家の親が年とったのでときどき手伝いに行ってるんだが、百姓の成れの果てで小さな畑がある。家からはちょっと遠いので親はもう行けないから、たまに行って、草取りぐらいする。 というようなことを書くとずいぶん田舎のようだが、実はこの畑、住宅地の真ん中。住宅地に畑をつくったんでなく、もともと田んぼばっかりだったところがいつの間にか住宅地になって取り残された。資産運用とかうるさいけど、面倒だから放っておいたらそうなった。 今日、その畑に行く前に便所に行って「だいじょうぶ」と思ってたんだが、急にさしこみがきた。山の中の畑だったら迷わずそこでズボンを下ろすのだけれど、まわりは住宅地。向かいには保育園まである。ここでしゃがむわけにはいかない。中途半端な住宅地なので、コンビニとかもない。 オロオロしてしまった。 最終的に納屋の中でどうにかしようと決断したときにはもう手遅れ。増田らしく漏らしてしまった。 この納
