疑問 XHTMLはSGMLで定義されていたHTMLをXMLの文法で定義し直した言語であり、XMLを埋め込むことができるが、 現在の制作現場においてそのようなケースは低く、HTML4.01と利用とほとんど変わらないように思う。 XHTMLの利用について 利点 MathMLやSVGの利用 RDFaなどによるセマンティック化 欠点 xmlを利用する場合、Doctypeの先頭にが必要(IE6で互換モードになる) タグの省略が不可 Strictの場合、target=”_blank”、iframe(GoogleMapsの利用)が文法エラーになる。 MathML, SVG, RDFaを利用するのであればXHTMLである必要があるが、通常のサイトのコーディングにおいてXHTMLである必要はなく、HTML4.01であっても問題ないように思う。 HTML5はどうなのか？ 通常のサイトのコーディングであれば、
