Java 表記な Scheme、は数あれど、その Forth にも負けないミニマリストぶり (予約語は 4 つだけ、制御構文はすべて bex script 文法で記述可能な、プログラム内からも差し替え可能な関数として組み込み) に加え、ANSI 以前の C のごとくに「メカニズムが透けて見える」と同時に「細部への精密な介入が可能」である点において、私の知る限りこの bex script こそはその系の (少なくともその言語仕様において) 最上のものである、といえる (なお、本家のバイナリ jar とソース (オリジナル版 1.2.1) にはいくつか問題があるので、私による修正 & ちょっと強化版 (私家版 1.2.6; 次以降のバージョンからはバグ修正と (必要なら) 高速化・コンパクト化に専念し、もはや実装および組み込み関数などの API を変えるような修正はしない所存) の バイナリ
