震災後の企業再生にはファンドを正しく活用せよ～銀行だけではできない中堅・中小企業の再生
東京大学経済学部卒業、シカゴ大学経営大学院（MBA）修了。1981年に三菱銀行（現三菱東京UFJ銀行）入行、1988年より、東京三菱銀行ロンドン支店にて、非日系企業ファイナンス担当ヘッド。90年代に英国ならびに欧州大陸の多数の私的整理・企業再生案件について、参加各行を代表するコーディネーターとして手がけ、英国中央銀行による「ロンドンアプローチ・ワーキンググループ」に邦銀唯一のメンバーとして招聘される。帰国後、企画部・投資銀行企画部等を経て、2002年フェニックス・キャピタル（現・ニューホライズンキャピタル）を創業し、代表取締役CEOに就任。創業以来、主として国内機関投資家の出資による８本の企業再生ファンド（総額約2500億円）を組成、市田・近商ストア・東急建設・世紀東急工業・三菱自動車工業・ゴールドパック・ティアック・ソキア・日立ハウステック・まぐまぐなど、約90社の再生と成長を手掛ける。
