アップル、ポッドキャスト専用の純正アプリ『Podcast』をApp Storeで公開
アップル純正のこのアプリは、これまで『ミュージック』アプリに含まれていたポッドキャスト視聴機能を単独のアプリとして独立させ、検索・再生・購読などを行えるようにしたものです。 カタログの画面では、ポッドキャストの「おすすめ」や「ランキング」をチェックしたり、「検索」からキーワードで番組を探すことが可能。 番組を選択すると、詳細画面からエピソードをダウンロードしたり、購読することができます。 ポッドキャストの視聴は、オンラインでストリーミング、またはダウンロードしてオフラインで視聴することができます。 設定の画面で「自動ダウンロード」をオンにしておけば、新しく追加されたコンテンツを自動でダウンロードしてくれます。 音声ポッドキャストの再生画面では、再生・一時停止などに加え、10秒巻戻しや30秒先送りのボタンもあります。 また、タイトルタップするとテープリール風の画面に代わり、スライダーでの再生
