2007/02/02 「いまは、大規模に作り変えられるFirefox 3.0に向けての活動で大変」。Mozilla Japanの技術部 国際化担当マネージャで、Mozillaのコミュニティ「Bugzilla-jp」にかかわる中野雅之氏は、Firefoxの開発コミュニティの現在をこう語る。オープンソースでコミュニティによって開発されるFirefoxだが、コミュニティ活動の実際はあまり知られていない。中野氏に概要を聞いた。 Bugzilla-jpはFirefoxやThunderbirdなどのMozilla製品のバグを管理するシステムの日本語環境。日本のユーザーから挙げられたバグについて再現テストを行ったり、パッチを作成し、本家のBugzillaに報告する。開発コミュニティ、ユーザーコミュニティの「もじら組」がホストしているが、もじら組以外の開発者も参加していて、「活動しているのはパブリックな人
