LinkedInが1億人ユーザのマイルストーンを超えたことを発表した。2002年の12月に設立し、サービスのローンチは2003年5月。比較的早く黒字化し、ここ数年成長し続けている。5,000万ユーザに到達するのに6年かかったものの、1年と半年で倍の1億ユーザを達成した。2010年10月のユーザ数は8,500万人、今年頭に上場申請をした際に9,000万ユーザいることを公表していた。今はなんと毎秒1人の新規ユーザが増えているという。 1億ユーザ達成を記念して、LinkedInのチームがインフォグラフィックを公開した。興味深い点をいくつか： LinkedInユーザの56%がアメリカの外にいる。 LinkedInがもっとも目覚しく成長しているのはブラジルで前年度比428%、次いでメキシコ、インド、フランス。 アクティビティが盛んなのは平日、午後が一番忙しい。逆にモバイルからの利用は午後8時くらいに
