Microsoft、シリーズ最新作『Age of Empires IV』を正式発表。開発はRelic Entertainmentが担当 - AUTOMATONMicrosoftはgamescom 2017に合わせて、シリーズ最新作『Age of Empires IV』を正式発表した。対象プラットフォームはWindows 10。現在はティーザー映像が公開されているのみで、ゲームの詳細や発売時期などは不明。なお同イベントでは、『Age of Empires: Definitive Edition』の10月リリース、さらに『Age of Empires II』『Age of Empires III』の「Definitive Edition」も発表されている。 『Age of Empires』シリーズは、2007年にリリースされた『Age of Empires III』がナンバリング作品としては最後になり、2011年にスタートした『Age of Empires Online』も2014年にて終了している。過去作の「Definitive Edition」
