知識に基づいた質問応答システムの実現は，自然言語処理の大きなゴールの一つです．しかしながら，その基盤となる，システム開発や評価のためのリソースの多くは英語を対象としたものであり，日本国内における研究を律速する一つの要因となっています．「AI王 〜クイズAI日本一決定戦〜」では，国内の質問応答研究を活性化することを目的に，クイズを題材とした日本語質問応答のデータセットを利用した，日本語質問応答システムのコンペティションを開催しています． 本報告会では，「AI王」第2回コンペティションの最終結果の発表を行うとともに，参加チームによるシステム報告を行っていただきます．また，質問応答研究のトップランナーによる最新の研究動向の解説や，クイズの専門家を招いてご講演いただく企画も予定しています． コンペティションの詳細については こちらのページ をご覧ください．
