5ボタンマウスの設定
最近のマウスは多ボタン化が一般的になり機能が大幅に向上してます。特に「戻る」「進む」ボタンは個人的に便利に使わせてもらってます。しかしLinuxではデフォルトで３ボタン+ホイールまでしかサポートしていないためこれらの便利な機能は利用できません。そこでLinuxで５ボタンマウスが使えるように設定します。方法は「Xの設定」と「Xの設定が適用されないアプリの設定」の2つになります。ここではMicrosoftのIntelliMouse Explorer 4.0を例にしています。ちなみにチルトホイールはボタンとして認識すらされないので設定していません。 (06/01/08 更新) SUSE LINUX 10に対応 1.
