According to VLC devs from their mailing list, VLC 3.0 was never approved for Amazon Fire TV store. Now the 2.1.1 got removed as well, and even got uninstalled from the sticks, where it was installed previously through the store. So, I am the one who disabled it from the Amazon Store. Not Amazon.
