最近ASデザインパターンの本が話題ですね。 そんなところで、開発中にでくわした改良のアイディアをパターンになぞらえて書いていこうかと思います。 AS3の開発でのボトルネックはエラー処理、とりわけ参照がNullであることによる例外をどうするかって場面だと思います。 Null Objectパターンをつかう 先ほどの案件で外部ファイルを読み込むにあたり、仮に読み込みが完了してなかったり、開発中で不足してるときにオブジェクトがない可能性を考えて作る必要がありました。 そういう場合はifステートメントで有無を確認して分岐したり、try...catch構文でエラーを回避したりしますが、可読性が落ちたり、いちいち書き換えることで手間や公開時に間違うリスクを増やすことになります。 if( se ) { se.play(); } // または例外をひろって停止するのはとりあえず防ぐ try{ se.play

中村勇吾の日誌。 展覧会が奇跡的に間に合った。東京大阪で合計4,50台ぐらいのPCが稼動してるので一日一回どっかでなにかが故障しているが、まあなんとかぎりぎり成立している。ギャラリートークも終わってほっとした。デザイナー同士のダラダラトークって、聴いてる方は確実にイラッとくるもんだけど、それをそのままやったった。俺ら的にはとても楽しかった。セミトラ田中さん菅井さんとダラダラ喋るのは、ほんま和む。 ギャラリーの準備と並行して、死にそうになりながら開発していたフォントパークも無事公開。久しぶりに深刻に追い込まれたけど、何とか間に合った。疲れたー。フォント疲れたー。 既に改善点が色々見えてたり、結局今回の公開には見送ったフィーチャーなどもあれど、最近の俺にしては良く出来きた仕事だと思う。ベースは去年の春夏ごろにケイタの作ったOTFフォントデータ解析プログラム。こことかこことか。これを応用したもの
