グラフを指先できれいに描きたいと思う人は、それほど多くはないかもしれません。 しかし、プレゼンテーションなどでそういう図を、たとえ「1枚でも」必要な人は、絶対買って損のないアプリが今回紹介する「Omnigraphsketcher」です。 わたし自身、心理学のグラフなどをスライドで示したいので、こういうソフトを心待ちしていました。これこそまさに「iPadでなければいけないアプリ」です。 例えば、わたしがよくプレゼンで使う「ヤーキーズ・ドッドソンの逆U字」というグラフ。心理学者のロバート・ヤーキーズとJ.D.ドットソンがネズミを用いた実験で、覚醒レベルと学習パフォーマンスの間には逆U字曲線型の関係があることを示したグラフです。人間でも同様で、緊張の度合いが高すぎても低すぎても、最高のパフォーマンスは発揮できず、適度に緊張している状態がもっともよい、ということを示しています。 これをExcelな

アクト・ツー、スケッチ感覚でグラフを描けるMac OS X用グラフ描画ソフト「OmniGraphSketcher」
アクト・ツー、スケッチ感覚でグラフを描けるMac OS X用グラフ描画ソフト「OmniGraphSketcher」 アクト・ツーは3月18日、米Omni Group製となるグラフ作成ソフト「OmniGraphSketcher」英語版の取り扱いを発表、本日よりダウンロード販売を開始する。価格は3780円（税込み）。 OmniGraphSketcherは、ドローソフトのようなシンプルな操作で自在にグラフを描けるソフトで、スケッチ認識機能により滑らかな曲線を描くことができる。Excelデータなどの取り込み（コピー＆ペースト）にも対応、再加工することにより視認性の高いグラフを作成できる。作成したグラフ画像は一般的な画像形式で出力可能だ。 なお本製品は英語版だが、日本語版へのフリーアップグレード付きとなっている（日本語版リリースは5月頃の予定）。対応OSはMac OS X 10.5以降。 関連記事
