MySQL Interface to Amazon S3 | AWS News Blog これは結構重要なニュース。これでec2=CPUパワー、S3=ストレージ＆データベースという組み合わせで、Web開発に必要なすべての機能がamazonで揃うようになる。 今までは、ec2上でmysqlサーバを立てるしかなかったのだけど、ディスクイメージが揮発性なのでちょっと怖くてできない事情があった。でも、これでもう解決。 後記 上の方法は、まだ制限されたSQL（キーと値が1対1）でしか実現されていないみたい。 より柔軟性の高い他の方法としては、S3DFS（fuseを使ったS3のファイルシステムへのマウント）とSQLiteを組み合わせた以下のような方法もあるらしい。 Another Database Solution for EC2 – S3DFS and SQLite | AWS News Blog
