RSSフィードを購読するツールとして、Google Reader を使っている人は多いと思います。 このブログでも数年前まで約 50% 対 50% で Google Reader と Livedoor Reader が拮抗していたのですが、現在は大半が Google Reader ユーザーに移行したというデータがあります。 なので、本日発表のあった「7/1でGoogle Readerが終了する」というニュースは衝撃だったのではないでしょうか。 私も最初は動揺したのですが、少し考えるにつれて、ひょっとしてこれは長い目でみるとユーザーにとっても、ウェブ全体にとってもよいことにつながるかもしれないと思うようになりました。 RSSはもう長いこと死んできた もちろんGoogle Readerの退場をRSSそのものの死と結びつけるのは早計です。しかし「RSSは死んだ」は、ここ数年ネットでよく聞くフレー
