愛知県豊橋市岩田町の岩田運動公園内で、１１０番通報ができる「おたすけ自動販売機」のセンサーライトを壊したとして、豊橋署は２８日、同県高浜市の会社員男性（１９）を器物損壊の疑いで現行犯逮捕したと発表した。 この自販機は昨年１０月に全国で初めて豊橋市に設置されてから、これまで同月から今年５月にかけて計４回、「監視社会」「カメラ反対」などとスプレーで落書きされたり、備え付けの防犯カメラが壊されたりしていた。会社員は過去４回についても犯行を認め、「（社会での）カメラの監視に反感をもっていた」と話しているという。 同署によると、同日午前１時１３分ごろ、会社員が金づちでセンサーライトをたたき壊すのを現場に張り込んでいた警察官が見つけたという。 この自販機は、前面の扉を開けて中の受話器を取り、ボタンを押すだけで１１０番につながるしくみ。県警と市の協力を得て、コカ・コーラセントラルジャパン（横浜市）
