Webサービスをマッシュアップする「Ubiquity」 Mozillaの研究開発部門Mozilla Labsは26日 (米国時間)、Web上にあるデータを組み合わせて使用するためのFirefox用プラグイン「Ubiquity 0.1」をリリースした。ソースコードは、他のMozilla製品と同様にGPL / MPL / LGPLのトリプルライセンスを適用、オープンソースソフトウェアとして公開されている。 Ubiquityは、Web上のデータ / サービスをつなぎ合わせ新たなタスクを創出するマッシュアップツール。URLバーへコマンドを入力するか、Firefoxのウインドウ内に表示されている文字を選択することで、GoogleやYouTubeなどのサイトを利用した検索や、Gmailなどのメッセージングツールへの転送など、サイト間で連携した作業をプログラミングの知識なしに処理できる。ほかにも、Wik
