フォロワー数の信頼性を高めるための取り組み
グローバルで、Twitterの健全な会話を向上するための継続的な取り組みの一環として、Twitter上にあるすべてのサービスはとても重要です。このような取り組みにより、多くの方が注目するフォロワー数に関して、利用者の皆さんのすべてのアカウントでより正確かつ価値のあるフォロワー数が表示されるようになります。 以前から、Twitter上で通常と異なる行為をしている兆候のあるアカウントに対してロックをすることがありました。Twitterはこれらの行為をするアカウントの所有者に対して、現在もアカウントを管理しているどうかを確認し、パスワード変更の確認が取れるまでログインが行えないように措置を継続します。本日より、グローバルではロックされたアカウントをプロフィールに表示しないようにします。この変更により、アカウントのフォロワー数の表示が減少する可能性があります。 この影響で、多くの利用者の皆さんのフ
Twitter Kit SDKのサポート終了のお知らせ
Twitter KitはiOS、AndroidとUnity向けのツイートの表示、Twitter利用者の認証さらにはTwittr APIとの連携が可能なオープンソースのSDKです。そもそもTwitter Kitは、開発者の皆さんがご自身のアプリにTwitterのコンテンツそのものをとても簡単に活用できるように用意されています。2017年12月、私たちは開発者により一層開発をすすめTwitterプラットフォームに貢献してもらえるようにTwitter Kitをオープンソースに変更しました。 ただ、とても残念ですが2018年10月31日をもって、GitHub上でiOS、 AndroidとUnityを対象にした本オープンソースに関する質問や問題を受け付けることを終了します。またそれ以降、 Cocoapods, Carthageと Bintray JCenterを通したSDKのリリースも終了します。た
より安心してご利用いただくために（現在の状況）
Twitterを安心してご利用いただける場にすることは私たちにとっての最優先事項です。Twitterを表現の自由があり、それぞれのトピックに様々な視点から意見を延べられる場にしたいと考えていますが、残念ながら、罵倒や嫌がらせを受けたり、自由な発言がしにくくなってしまうケースも存在します。このような事態を解決すべく、いくつかのことを始めています。 昨年11月には、それぞれの利用者の方がTwitter上でご覧になるコンテンツを、ご自分でもっとコントロールできるようにしました。先週は、嫌がらせを受けている方がより報告いただきやすくなるように、問題報告の方法にも変更を加えました。 今回は、「嫌がらせアカウント作成の抑止」「セーフサーチ」「嫌がらせと思われるものや質の低いツイートへの対処」という3つの部分での変更をご案内します。 嫌がらせアカウント作成の抑止 アカウントを永久的に停止された方が新しい
今後の予定：140文字をより活用できるように
Twitterは140文字のテキストだけのサービスとして始まり、その後、写真や動画、ハッシュタグ、Vineなども使えるサービスに進化してきました。ここ数ヶ月には、投票機能や、GIF検索、タイムライン上でのPeriscopeの視聴などもできるようにしました。 昔に比べるとツイートでいろいろなことができるようになってはきましたが、さらにもう少し便利にしたいと思います。そこで、これから数ヶ月の間に、140文字の数え方に少し変更を加えます。返信ツイートの＠ユーザー名や、写真や動画、GIFや投票などの添付物は140文字に含まれないようになります。 返信：誰かのツイートへの返信の際、ツイート冒頭に表示されていた＠ユーザー名が文字数としてカウントされなくなります。よって、140文字すべてを自由に使ってメッセージを伝えられるようになります。 添付：写真、GIF画像、動画、投票、引用ツイート分なども140文
大切なツイートを見逃さないように：選択できる新しいタイムライン機能
皆さんは何人のアカウントをフォローされていらっしゃいますか？100人以上、1000人以上という方々も多くいらっしゃると思います。Twitterから目を離している間に誰かが大切なことをツイートしていたら…と思われたことはありませんか？そこで、フォローしているアカウントからの大切なツイートを見逃さない新しいタイムライン機能を選択いただけるようにしました。 設定を変えることで、Twitterにログインした時、ご自分がフォローしている人たちのツイートの中からもっとも重要だと思われるツイートが新しいものから順番にタイムラインの一番上に表示されるようにできます。そのいくつかのツイートの下に、これまで通りの通常のタイムラインが表示されます。また、タイムラインをリフレッシュすることで通常のタイムラインに戻ります。 この新しい機能をお試しになりたい方は、iOS、Android、Webのtwitter.com
新年のタイムラインを #あけおめ 絵文字ツイートで染めよう!
