別の所の手順でid_rsaを生成して"Permission denied (publickey)."が出て引っかかった → "ssh接続の際「~/.ssh/id_rsa」、「~/.ssh/id_dsa」、「~/.ssh/identity」しかデフォルトでは見にいかないからです" ＝原因だった → 解決 → 参考になった
