I tend to avoid trying new things until the last minute. I usually have to be dragged kicking and pouting into new technology or a new way of thinking. However, if I need to learn something new for a client, though I will still kick and pout, I find the threat of a shitty deadline is just the thing to allow me to dive into something new. 先日コントローラレスモーションコントローラ「Kinect」のオープンソースのドライバが開発されたという話題を取り上げましたが、ついにリリースされました openkinect Linux/Windows/Mac用ドライバが提供されています。現状ではKinectのオーディオ機能を使うことが出来ません そしてそれをうけて早くも、openFrameworks用のKinectアドオンが登場しています。(ちなみにProcessing用のライブラリは現在開発中) ofxKinect それに加えて、openFrameworkを使ったデモがいくつか登場。以下デモ映像を御覧ください。 Kinectで手を認識して、動きに合わせて3Dオブジェクトを描画。デプスカメラを使って奥行きも認識させている。このデモのソース Kinectで認識した画像から3Dの点描画を作成 ofxKinectと(画像認識ライブラリ)open
