JAM LOG : Mac OS X TigerでPHP5.2.3をビルド
PHP5.2.3がリリースされたので早速落としてきてMac OS X Tiger (10.4.9)上でビルドしてみたんですが、どうもconfigureが通らない。何度やってもGD周りでエラーが出る。 調べてみてようやく解決策を発見。 RCを試そう 「configure」ファイルの42415行目の LIBS=" -L$GD_LIB $GD_SHARED_LIBADD $LIBS" という記述を、 LIBS=" $GD_SHARED_LIBADD $LIBS" とすればOKとのこと。解決策ソースはこちら。 #41555 [Opn->Csd]: Unable to compile with --with-gd switch :: ASPN Mail Archive :: php-dev ということで、上記の変更をすると無事configureが通り、make、make test、sudo make

I have to come out and agree with Jeremy, Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is a little underwhelming. I’ve been using it for 8 weeks now, and overall, I’m not as wowed as I was with the Jaguar>Panther upgrade. Sure, there are a lot of improvements, but I’ve not found a use for Dashboard and Spotlight, the supposed major features.
