マイクロソフト、セールスフォース・ドットコムを特許侵害で提訴
Microsoftは米国時間5月18日、オンラインソフトウェア企業Salesforce.comに対する大がかりな威嚇射撃として、同社が9件の特許を侵害していると主張し、米連邦裁判所に提訴した。 シアトルの連邦地方裁判所に提出された訴状（PDFファイル）では、損害賠償金と一時的および恒久的販売差し止め命令の両方を求めている。具体的には、Microsoftは陪審による裁判を要求しているほか、Salesforce.comによる特許侵害が意図的なものだと訴えて、賠償金を3倍に増額するとともに、Salesforce.comに対し訴訟費用などの経費を負担するよう命じることを求めている。 Microsoftで副法律顧問を務めるHoracio Gutierrez氏は、声明で次のように述べた。「Microsoftは、過去数十年にわたってソフトウェア業界のリーダーおよびイノベーターであり続け、素晴らしいソフト
