Consider I have the following text in a UILabel (a long line of dynamic text): Since the alien army vastly outnumbers the team, players must use the post-apocalyptic world to their advantage, such as seeking cover behind dumpsters, pillars, cars, rubble, and other objects. I want to resize the UILabel's height so that the text can fit in. I'm using following properties of UILabel to make the text
I can add a border to a CALayer in this way: [webView.layer setBorderColor: [[UIColor colorWithRed:0.6 green:0.7 blue:0.2 alpha:1] CGColor]]; [webView.layer setBorderWidth: 2.75]; But is it possible to add a border only at one side? I only need a border at the bottom. Or can I reach this with other properties, e.g. frame, bounds, mask, ...? Thanks for your help! @Control-V UIWebView *webView = [[U

iphone – How can I determine if a UILabel was touched?
I'm developing a Cocoa application, and I'm using constant NSStrings as ways to store key names for my preferences. I understand this is a good idea because it allows easy changing of keys if necessary. Plus, it's the whole 'separate your data from your logic' notion. Anyway, is there a good way to make these constants defined once for the whole application? I'm sure that there's an easy and intel
I was previously using the top-voted answer, but it needs a bit of cleanup, so here it is redone for Xcode 4, with some improvements. I've researched every file in this list, but several of them do not exist in Apple's official Xcode documentation, so I had to go on Apple mailing lists. Apple continues to add undocumented files, potentially corrupting our live projects. This IMHO is unacceptable,
This answer is the culmination of various other StackOverflow posts and tutorials around the internet brought into one place for my future reference, and to help anyone else who may be facing the same issue. All credit is given for other answers at the end. Duplicating an Xcode Project In the Finder, duplicate the project folder to the desired location of your new project. Do not rename the .xcode
I have a font added to my iOS project. It's in the project and copied when the project builds. It appears to be a valid font and will show up if I list all fonts on the device through the app. I have the plist set up properly to include the font. I can't seem to get the find to show up to use it in my text controls, buttons, etc in Xcode 4.2's storyboard section. Further it doesn't appear to allow
