webサービスの提供者が一斉にある１日(24時間)だけ自社のサービスをIPv6対応にして、影響を探ってみようという試みです。IPv4対応はこれまで通り維持されるので、IPv4でアクセスする場合はこれまでと何ら変わりません。既にIPv6対応したユーザがIPv6でアクセスできるサイトが一時的に増えることになります。参加はそれぞれのコンテンツを管理している事業者や個人が自主的に決めます。主にコンテンツ事業者の参加を期待していますが、何ら限定はありません。初回は2011年6月8日0時UTC(日本時間で午前9時)から24時間で実施されました。 2012年 World IPv6 Launchに関して 2012年6月6日に開催予定です。 詳しくは World IPv6 Launchページを参照して下さい。 2011年11月25日にIIJにて傾向と対策ミーティングを開催しました。 World IPv6 D
