2023年7月29日2023年9月16日 明治教科書明朝展示 学芸大学BOOK AND SONSにて。 百年以上前の資料。 百年以上前の活字をベースに新たにフォントとして作らせていただいてます。 ポスターはB0サイスと巨大です。横1030mmx縦1456mm。 FGP続明治教科書明朝 欧文に特徴がありまして、一般的なアルファベットとは異なる骨格をデザインしました。特に大文字の「A」などはこれまでの欧文にはない風変わりな意匠となっています。 最終的にはパソコンやスマホでも表示できるようにフォント化するのですが、大元はこのように手書きのレタリングから始まります。この時点で可能な限り精密にレタリングします↓。 レタリングした元画をさらにイラレでトレースしてベジェ化し、なんどもプリントしては検証します↓。 明治教科書明朝は通常のテキスト入力で全ての漢字が旧漢字に変換するのが特徴です。一部変体仮
