Budgie - Linux を入れよう
Solus Project で開発された新しいデスクトップ環境。読みは「バッジー」。 GTK3 系なので、必要要件は Cinnamon に近い。事実上 3D 環境推奨。 パネルを透明にする事で、Chrome OS に近い表示にもできる。 当初 Budgie ではパネルを下に表示していたが、そのサンプル画面を見て、 Solus が Chrome OS を意識していると勘違いされてしまった事があった。 その対策を兼ねてか、Budgie 10.1 からパネルを上に置くのが標準に変更された、 パネル位置は設定で変更・追加可能。 メニューは当初カテゴリをアプリに挟んで表示していたが、 Budgie 10.1 からカテゴリとアプリを分かれて表示するようになった。 残念ながら Solus は日本語環境が全く整っていない。 (IBus・Fcitx パッケージすらまともに構築されていない状況)
