June 02, 201122:10 カテゴリ組織とyou国民性の違いを県民性の違いみたいに話したいそんなわけで、シアトルにいる。勤務地は東京だけどチームの大半はアメリカなので，転職二日目からずっとシアトルにいます。二週間の予定なのでもうすぐ帰るけど。合計で20ヶ国ぐらいに出入りしたことがあるけど、実はアメリカにちゃんと入国するのは初めてなのです。(子供のときにアラスカに来たことはあったかも...?) うまく表現できないけど、「遊びの多い」国だなと思った。遊びって遊びまわることじゃなくて、機械の可動範囲にちょっと隙間や余裕が残してあるような状態のことね。作りが大雑把であるがゆえに、その隙間にさまざまなものを受け入れる余地があるというか。ここで二週間しか働いてないのであまりアメリカはこうだ！みたいな一般論は言えないけど、とりあえずひとつ、意外に重要だと思った日本の職場との違いを二つ
