Debian の apt-get update で pdiff を disable する Posted by yoosee on Debian at 2006-11-07 23:42 JST1 Debian の apt-get update で pdiff を disable するapt-get update で、パッケージ一覧の差分取得 pdiff がどうもうまくないのか途中で止まってしまうので、設定で off することに。色々探したが、/etc/apt/apt.conf.d/ の下に設定ファイルを 99local の様な名前で作って// disable pdiff Acquire::Pdiffs { "false"; };と書くといいようだ。コマンドラインならばapt-get update -o Acquire::PDiffs=falseとする。

手順。 unstableの.dpkgファイルを落としてきて #dpkg -i xcomposite-hogehoge.dpkg で、xorg.confに次の記述を #for sukesuke Section "Extensions" Option "Composite" "Enable" EndSection Xorgを再起動。面倒なのでマシンごと再起動してもうた。そいで、xcompositeを起動： /usr/local/xcompmgr-1.1.1/bin/xcompmgr -cCfF -r7 -o.65 -l-10 -t-8 -D7 & これでぼうっと影がつく。unstableなだけあってかなり重い。ウィンドウをスケスケにするためにはtransitなるものが必要らしい。で、ここで力尽きたので、nDikiを参考にやってみてください。簡単だったよ。ポイントは*-devをいれないとヘッダフ
