ネットブックの販売が好調。ノートPC市場の5分の1を占有 ～Eee PCとAspire oneが激しい争い ●ASUSTeKとエイサーが二強 ネットブックの販売台数が急増している。 全国26社2,350店舗のPOSデータを集計しているBCNによると、ネットブックが集中する6万円未満のノートPCの構成比は、2008年8月の販売台数実績で、ノートPC全体の19.9%となり、5台に1台を占める結果となった。 また、Windows XPを搭載したノートPCの構成比は21.5%、10インチ以下のディスプレイを搭載したノートPCの構成比は、8月1日から25日までの集計で19.1%と、同様に5台に1台を占めている。10インチ以下のディスプレイとWindows XPの搭載はネットブックの特徴であり、いずれの数値からも、ノートPC市場におけるネットブックの存在感が急速に高まっていることが裏付けられよう。 ネ

NTTコミュニケーションズ、NTTデータ、NTTの3社は2日、次世代ネットワーク(NGN)などを活用しSaaSビジネスを支援する「SaaS over NGN」構想の一環として、企業向けにSaaSを提供する事業者が利用できるサービス基盤を共同開発する意向を表明した。。 今回発表した共同開発計画の目的は、NTTコムとNTTデータの強みを活かしたSaaS提供事業者向けの機能を連携させ、総体としてレンジの広いサービス基盤を一括して提供することにある。 具体的には各種企業ネットワークへの対応を強みとするNTTコムの「BizCITY for SaaS Provider」の機能群と、アプリケーション連携を強みとするNTTデータの「VANADIS SaaS Platform」の機能群を連携させる機能を開発する予定だ。 また、同サービス基盤の実現に向け、NTTの情報流通プラットフォーム研究所の認証連携関連技
