米Googleがモバイルポイントカードサービスの米Punchdを買収した。Punchdが同社のWebサイトで明らかにした。買収総額など詳細は公表されていない。 Punchdは2010年創業のサンフランシスコに拠点を置く非公開企業。ショップやレストランが発行するポイントカード（商品を5個購入すると1個無料になる、などのサービスカード）に置き換わるモバイルアプリを開発している。現在は、サンフランシスコの一部地域で利用できるiPhoneとAndroid向けのアプリ（β版）を提供している。ユーザーは、同サービスに加入しているショップのレジに用意されているQRコードを端末で読み込むことで、サービスを利用できる。 Punchdの6人のチームは、Googleの本社に入る。同社のFacebookページによると、サービスの開発はそのまま継続する。 Googleは、モバイル決済サービス「Google Wall
