Does the Google Photos app, released on May 28, 2015, have an API which allows uploading of photos? The app seems to build on Picassa and Google+. Can one of their APIs can be used to upload into Google Photos?
For better or worse, we have migrated our whole LAMP web application from dedicated machines to the cloud (Amazon EC2 machines). It's going great so far but the way we do crons is sub-optimal. I have a Amazon-specific question about how to best manage cron jobs in the cloud using "the Amazon way". The problem: We have multiple webservers, and need to run crons for batch jobs such as creating RSS f
I need to use an alternate glibc version, newer than the one installed on my system (2.18 vs 2.15). Several related issues are covered here and here. The specific question I'm asking here is the following: I set up the library path of the new dynamic linker (ld-2.18.so) so that the new libc (libc-2.18.so) is found ahead of the old libc (libc-2.15.so). However, when I try to run a program with the
I'm trying to make a bookmarklet to use on youtube and other video sites in order to easily get information from the video and store it elsewhere. From today, apparently I can't do that anymore since youtube force itself on a https connection and from what I've read on chrome's console window, the bookmarklet doesn't run on a https page. Is there a workaround? Here is the edited code: javascript:(
I am using this type of SQL on MySQL to insert multiple rows of values in one single query: INSERT INTO `tbl` (`key1`,`key2`) VALUES ('r1v1','r1v2'),('r2v1','r2v2'),... On the readings on PDO, prepared statements should give me a better security than static queries. I would therefore like to know whether it is possible to generate "inserting multiple rows of values by the use of one query" using p
I have also had quite a bit of trouble with Xcode 5's tests. It still seems quite buggy with some odd behaviour - however I have found the definitive reason your particular XCTAssertEqual isn't working. If we have a look at the test code we see it actually does the following (taken directly from XCTestsAssertionsImpl.h - it may be easier to view there): #define _XCTPrimitiveAssertEqual(a1, a2, for
I'm creating a web application, where I need to store info of 5,000,000 people and the info is of 6 categories. I'm using MySQL as my database. My question is, which is better: Create 6 databases with the name of 6 categories and create 5,000,000 tables in it corresponding to info of each user. Hence, [6 databases with 5,000,000 tables each]. Info on each user would be split into 6 different datab
Since the upgrade to iOS 6, we are seeing Safari's web view take the liberty of caching $.ajax calls. This is in the context of a PhoneGap application so it is using the Safari WebView. Our $.ajax calls are POST methods and we have cache set to false {cache:false}, but still this is happening. We tried manually adding a TimeStamp to the headers but it did not help. We did more research and found t
