Is there a way in bash to convert a string into a lower case string? For example, if I have: a="Hi all" I want to convert it to: "hi all"
Adding some controls to UIAlertView was deprecated in iOS7 using addSubview method. As I know Apple promised to add contentView property. iOS 7 is released now and I see that this property is not added. That is why I search for some custom solution with ability to add progress bar to this alertView. Something for example similar to TSAlertView, but more ready for using in iOS 7.
I'm developing an iOS 4 application using iOS SDK latest version and XCode 4.2. I have a XIB with a UIWebView with Alpha = 1.0, Background set to Clear Color and Opaque is not set. On this XIB I setup an image as background with this code: - (id)initWithNibName:(NSString *)nibNameOrNil bundle:(NSBundle *)nibBundleOrNil { self = [super initWithNibName:nibNameOrNil bundle:nibBundleOrNil]; if (self)
We have an app that handles a custom URL scheme (vstream://). When someone comes to a web page that has some vstream:// content, we need to redirect them to the store if they don't have our app installed. In iOS, we do this: setTimeout(function() { window.location = "itms://itunes.apple.com/us/app/kaon-v-stream/id378890806?mt=8&uo=4"; }, 25); window.location = "vstream:view?code=...stuff..."; If t
On Coffeescript.org: bawbag = (x, y) -> z = (x * y) bawbag(5, 10) would compile to: var bawbag; bawbag = function(x, y) { var z; return (z = (x * y)); }; bawbag(5, 10); compiling via coffee-script under node.js wraps that so: (function() { var bawbag; bawbag = function(x, y) { var z; return (z = (x * y)); }; bawbag(5, 10); }).call(this); Docs say: If you'd like to create top-level variables for ot
I have some unit tests for a function that makes use of the window.location.href -- not ideal I would far rather have passed this in but its not possible in the implementation. I'm just wondering if its possible to mock this value without actually causing my test runner page to actually go to the URL. window.location.href = "http://www.website.com?varName=foo"; expect(actions.paramToVar(test_Data)
I'm looking for a way to programmatically change navigator.userAgent on the fly. In my failed attempt to get an automated javascript unit tester, I gave up and attempted to begin using fireunit. Immediately, I've slammed into one of the walls of using an actual browser for javascript testing. Specifically, I need to change navigator.userAgent to simulate a few hundred userAgent strings to ensure p
I'd like to clean up my local repository, which has a ton of old branches: for example 3.2, 3.2.1, 3.2.2, etc. I was hoping for a sneaky way to remove a lot of them at once. Since they mostly follow a dot release convention, I thought maybe there was a shortcut to say: git branch -D 3.2.* and kill all 3.2.x branches. I tried that command and it, of course, didn't work.
There are several solutions depending on what you need... If you want to add a custom header (or set of headers) to an individual request then just add the headers property: // Request with custom header $.ajax({ url: 'foo/bar', headers: { 'x-my-custom-header': 'some value' } }); If you want to add a default header (or set of headers) to every request then use $.ajaxSetup(): $.ajaxSetup({ headers:
When I use jQuery for a simple click event it only works for links. Is there a way to make it work for spans etc: $("span.clicked").live("click", function(e){alert("span clicked!")}); $("a.clicked").live("click", function(e){alert("link clicked!")}); The SPAN works in Safari but not Mobile Safari (on iPhone or iPad) whereas the A tag works in both.
