佐藤雅彦＋ユーフラテス Masahiko Sato + EUPHRATES 1'53" / Short Movie / 2011 ------------------------------ ロトスコープ（rotoscope）と呼ばれるアニメーションの手法を発展させて作り上げた実験映像です。ロトスコープは通常、人物の輪郭線をなぞってアニメーションを制作する方法が一般的ですが、本作品では撮影したバレリーナの動きを正確にトレースし、そこからダンスの軌跡を描いた曲線や、計算機科学などの数理的な手法で生成されたアニメーションを合成しています。実写映像とアニメーションが相互に関係し合う、新しい美しさを持つ表現を目指しました。 CD: 佐藤雅彦 AD: 山本晃士ロバート Dir: 山本晃士ロバート, 石川将也 Camera: 佐藤匡 Programmer: 安本匡佑 Dancer: 浦邉玖莉
SPACが神話伝承を読み解く「イナバとナバホの白兎」フランス公演を生中継
「古事記」収録のエピソード「因幡の白兎」が北米先住民の伝承神話にも存在することから、「アジアで生まれた神話の一体系がまず日本に伝わり、そのあと北米に伝わったのではないか？」と仮説を説いた、人類学者のクロード・レヴィ＝ストロース。本作では宮城聰率いるSPACが、“演劇的想像力”でこの仮説を読み解く。5月には「ふじのくに→せかい演劇祭2016」にてプレ公演が行われ、連日にわたり多くの観客を魅了した。 中継されるのは、6月11日20:00（現地時間）回の公演。日本時間では6月11日27:00に、ヨーロッパのテレビ局・ARTEの公式サイトにて視聴が可能になる。なおこの映像は12月31日まで公開される。 ※「ふじのくに→せかい演劇祭2016」の「→」は相互矢印が正式表記。

およそ１４００年前、唐からインドまでシルクロードを旅して「大般若経」を持ち帰った三蔵法師こと玄奘三蔵。その玄奘三蔵を始祖とする法相宗の大本山が世界遺産の薬師寺である。 寺内の玄奘三蔵院には玄奘三蔵の遺骨が納められ、平山郁夫画伯が「大唐西域壁画」を奉納している。ここでは毎年５月、玄奘三蔵の功績を讃えるための大祭『玄奘三蔵会』が行われる。『玄奘三蔵会』は、長きに渡って途絶えていたが、次世代への継承をねらいとして平成４年に復活し、玄奘三蔵のインドへの旅を描いた幻の伝統演劇『伎楽』を中心に繰り広げられる。 ２０１４年の大祭は玄奘三蔵没後１３５０年という節目であるとともに、１１０年ぶりに解体修理を行っている東塔の無事祈願を兼ねており、薬師寺にとってこれまで以上に大きな意味を持つ。神聖な“門外不出の儀式”であった伎楽。これまで決して入ることが許されなかったこの伎楽の大祭は、衣裳、染色、仮面や経典などの
