「雷ガード」が発火、約152万個を無償交換 | RBB TODAY
消費者庁は15日、株式会社ノアが輸入・販売を手がけた雷保護装置「雷ガード」が発火し火災が発生した事故を公表。 火災は2009年8月9日に発生（人的被害はなし）。同様の事故はこれまでに11件発生しており（いずれも非火災扱いで人的被害はなし）、調査の結果、同製品の電子部品（バリスタ）が絶縁劣化して発熱した際に、構造的に異常温度上昇を防止する機能が正常に働かず、発煙・発火に至ったものと判明したという。 このためノアでは、対象機種2製品「NE-222」、「NE-888」の無償交換を発表。対象個数は約152万個にのぼるとみられている。 《小口》
