2014年10月24日、Dublin Core Metadata Initiative（DCMI）、国際電子出版フォーラム（IDPF）、IMS Global Learning Consortiumが共同で“Digital Learning Metadata Alliance（dlma.org）”を立ち上げました。デジタル出版と教育技術、eラーニングに関する530機関を代表する世界的な組織とのことです。 dlma.orgは、次世代のメタデータのフレームワークへの改革への進化を促しつつ、既存のメタデータのフレームワークを通じて、教育技術、出版、ウェブと図書館コミュニティにおける、デジタルラーニングや教育を支援するためのメタデータの標準の採用や開発のための調整を行うことを目的としているとのことです。 Digital Learning Metadata Alliance (dlma.org) ht
