http://www.spice-of-life.net/wiki/index.cgi?AWalkOnTheSeaside Seasideの実装に興味があって、試すついでに本家のチュートリアルを翻訳してみた。チュートリアルにしてはちと突っ込み過ぎではないかと思う。 当然といえば当然だが、おそらくWebObjectsを知っている人ならわりとすぐに慣れることができると思う。ただ、Seasideのほうが継続に焦点をより強く合わせているのと (Objective-CやJavaでは言語仕様上難しいこともあるし) 、Smalltalk/Squeakらしい徹底さがある。Webコンポーネントやダイナミックエレメントの概念もない (HTMLはコードで出力) から、設計のコンセプトを除けば、WebObjectsとの共通点はあまりない。 WebObjects は、もはやアプリケーションサーバの市場で唯一の存在で

_ WebObjects + Ajax.Framework demo in 15 minutes はるばるフランスからリクエストを頂いたので、 WebObjects と Project WONDER の Ajax.Framework を使って、 ドラッグ＆ドロップでレコードをゴミ箱にドラッグして削除する、 というデモを作ってみた。 最初の5分で AJAX ではない単純な CRUD アプリを生成。 残りの10分ぐらいで、それを AJAX によるドラッグ＆ドロップ対応に しています。 容量が大きいので、右クリックなどでローカルに保存してから Quicktime Player などで開いた方が、安定して見られると思います。 Download the movie(MPEG4 - 44Mbyte) environment MacOS X 10.4.7 Xcode 2.2.1 Java
