無料で100万枚以上のブリテン諸島の風景写真が利用できる「Geograph British Isles」

Photosynth がさらに驚くトリックとともに帰って来た 2008年8月15日 IT コメント： トラックバック (0) Los Angels で行われているカンファレンス SIGGRAPH 2008 にてワシントン大学と Microsoft Research の共同研究チームは Photosynth へすばらしい効果を与える改善について発表した。 別々の写真を3次元空間で縫い付ける元々のアイディアに加えて、新しい技術では写真の中の色およびトーンを操作することが可能になった。 Flickr で公開されている写真をもとにすれば、例えば古い建物を見るのに、その場に行かなくてもまるでその場で見ているかような体験ができてしまう。また Photosynth の画像処理は建物の外観だけにとどまらず当然内側の写真も処理可能で建物に入った状態で眺めることも可能だ。 また自分の写真と組み合わせることで自
