“後で読む”のInstapaperをDiggの親会社Betaworksが買収

Webページを“後で読む”ためのツール「Instapaper」の開発者であるマルコ・アーメント氏は4月25日（現地時間）、Instapaperを米Betaworksに売却したと発表した。Instapaperは今後、Betaworksが管理・運営していく。 Instapaperは、Webページをブックマークしておき、後で読むためのオンラインサービス。有料のiOSアプリ、Androidアプリ（こちらはサードパーティーのMobeluxが管理運営）、Kindle版もある。公式サイトによると、現在、約200万のユーザーが登録している。アーメント氏は2008年の立ち上げからこれまで、Instapaperを1人で運営してきたが、ユーザー数の拡大で限界に来ており、また、新しいアプリの開発も始めているため、長年交流のあるBetaworksへの売却を決めたという。「Instapaperには新しい家が必要だ
