Microsoft、Windows 7 RCを一般公開
米Microsoftは5月5日、Windows 7のリリース候補版（RC）を一般向けに公開したことを公式ブログで発表した。7日に予定されていた日本語版も、既にダウンロードできるようになっている。Windows 7のダウンロードページで、32bit版か64bit版の日本語版を選択できる。エディションはUltimateのみ。 Windows 7をダウンロードするにはWindows Live IDで登録する必要がある。登録の際にプロダクトキーを取得できるので、ダウンロードしたディスクイメージファイルをDVDに焼き、このプロダクトキーでアクティベートする。 現在Windows Vistaが稼働しているPCではアップデートによるインストールが可能だが、Microsoftはデータのバックアップを奨励している。Windows XP、Windows 7 β搭載PCではクリーンインストールが必要だ。 Mic
