アップル「M2」プロセッサーの量産開始か--次世代「MacBook Pro」に搭載の可能性
「M1」プロセッサーがAppleの主力チップである時代が終わりに近づいているかもしれない。「M2」という名称になるとされる同社の次期プロセッサーが4月に量産段階に入ったと、Nikkei Asiaが4月27日に報じた。 新しいプロセッサーについて、この記事では「2021年下半期に発売見込みの『MacBook』への搭載を見据えて、7月には出荷が始まる可能性がある」とする「事情をよく知る匿名情報筋ら」の話を伝えている。Appleはこれまでに、Intelのプロセッサーに代えて、自社設計のプロセッサーを搭載する14インチと16インチの新型「MacBook Pro」を準備しているとうわさされてきている。 なお、新プロセッサーの製造は、TSMC（Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company）が行っているという。 Nikkei Asiaによると、M2チップはM1と同
