アップル、ブラジルでの「iPhone」商標権をめぐる裁判で勝訴
「iPhone」のブラジルでの名称をiPhoneとすることを、法的に認める判決が下された。 Eduardo de Brito Fernandes判事は現地時間9月24日、「iPhone」の商標を使用する排他的権利を保有するというブラジル企業IGB Electronicaの主張を退ける判決を下した。IGB Electronicaは、「Gradiente iphone」として知られる同社の「Android」搭載スマートフォンに関する商標出願に基づき、同商標を保有すると主張していた。BNAmericasによると、この商標は、初代iPhoneが登場する何年も前の2000年に出願されているが、認められたのは2008年だったという。 IGBは、商標の有効期限までわずか1カ月となった2012年12月にGradiente iphoneを発売した。ブラジルの国立工業所有権院（INPI）はIGBの主張を認め、
