11月26～28日の3日間、インタラクティブシステムとソフトウエアのシンポジウム『WISS』が静岡県・浜松市で開催されました。 今年の委員長、ウエアラブルの伝道師こと、神戸大学の塚本昌彦教授の計らいで初めて『WISS』に遠隔操作ロボットが導入されました。 2週間前に出産した娘と一緒に、自宅から遠隔操作をして学会に参加私はこの学会に毎年参加してきましたが、開催の2週間前に出産をしたばかりなので、今年は不参加の予定でした。しかし、インターネット越しに遠隔操作して参加できるのならと、このロボットを使って自宅から学会に参加させていただくことにしました。 今回私が使用したのは、iPresenceという会社からご提供いただいた『Double Robotics』という遠隔操作ロボットです。 このiPadを乗せた自立型ロボットは、操作がとても簡単。ロボットの移動に使うのはPCの十字キーのみです。上下キーで
