東京電力は11日、福島第一原子力発電所事故当日の昨年3月11日から28日までに、同社社員らが撮影した写真600枚を新たに公開した。 原発周辺の被害状況を把握し、復旧計画を検討するために撮影したもので、緊迫した現場の様子が伝わる。電源を失って炉心溶融を起こした2号機では、防護服と全面マスクを着用した作業員が、電源室で懸命にバッテリーをつなぎ、電気を確保しようとしていた。 公開写真は、今年7月に最終報告書をまとめた国会の事故調査委員会の指摘を受け、東電が社員らに改めて確認し、見つかった。
