私に驚いて、でかい体をうねらせて逃走。体がでかいので結構速い。秒速６〜10ｃｍぐらい。1/60secで1mm以上ブレて止まらない。 1/15secで撮ると体を微妙に捩りくねらして移動しているのがわかる。彼らの価値？ もちろん分解者だというのは言えるだろう。分解者の価値は、物質の回転の円滑化だ。落ち葉や腐葉土や、微小な土壌生物を食べて分解してさらに糞として森林内に撒き散らす。 こういうのは、生態系の機能として分かりやすい。本気になれば定量化も可能だろう。生態系構成員において、何ら役割を持っていない生物というのも逆に想定しにくいものだ。 しかしそれゆえに彼らの存在において価値が生じているわけではない。人間がその生態系における機能や関係性の謎について解明ししたとして、その結果可能になった解釈による価値が全てではない。

明けましておめでとうございます。 新年早々、というより昨年末から私は風邪をこじらせ、微熱がある中、年末の大掃除や相棒ヴェゼルの洗車を敢行するなど少々の無理をしていた。 ズルズルと鼻水が垂れ、鼻にティッシュを当てながらも、除夜の鐘が鳴ると初詣に行く。ここまで来ると執着というか、もう意地になっていたかもしれない。 その後も正月の行事があり、中々休めずに、一向に良くならない。 嫁からは、「無理し過ぎ、食べ過ぎ、自業自得」と言われる。 それでも、どこからか突き動かされる力が湧いてくる。 僕には初詣に行くと必ずやっていることがある。 それは絵馬に願いを書くこと。 今年で３回目だけど、その全ての願いが叶っている。 願いの内容は頭で考え抜いて「これがしたい！」というのではなく、「ここへ行かなければ ならない」みたいな何か挑戦的な思いが急に降ってくる。 絵馬には、それを具体的に「○○をします」と書いて、住

こんにちは、りょうです。 皆さん瞑想というと堅いイメージがあると思いますが、実は決して難しくなく本当はもっと身近なものなのです。 瞑想は誰でも出来るもので、瞑想中はとてもリラックスしている状態です。このような時に次々と良いアイデアが浮かんでくるものです。 瞑想のイメージ 瞑想というと今でこそ、ヨガやマインドフルネス、禅などわりとポピュラーになったと思います。 私自身も、呼吸を整え、心を鎮め、ストレス解消をと思い、座禅を組んで瞑想をしていました。 しかし、これがなかなか続かない！時間は長く、直ぐに雑念が湧いてくるし、足はしびれてくる…。修行が足りないと言えばそれまでですが難しいです。 色々な瞑想法 瞑想とは色々なやり方があります。 例えば、何も考えないようにする、好きなこと考えてよい、座禅を組んで行う、椅子に座って行う… スピリチュアルでは、願う、祈る、誓う、そういったものも含まれます。 こ
