Twitterから閉めだされた「イスラム国」、分散型SNSのDiasporaに乗り換え
米Twitterや米YouTubeが「イスラム国（ISIS）」のアカウントや関連する画像を停止／削除する中、同組織は新たな広報手段として分散型SNSのDiasporaを選んだようだ。 Diasporaは8月20日（現地時間）、複数のメディアがISISがDiasporaに複数のアカウントを作成していると報じたことを受け、状況を説明した。 Diasporaは2010年にニューヨーク大学の学生が立ち上げたオープンソースの分散型SNSプロジェクト。TwitterやYouTubeなどと異なり、ユーザーは自分で立ち上げたサーバをDiasporaに接続することで運営に参加できる。 この柔軟性が今回はあだとなった。アカウントやコンテンツを一元的に削除する手段はなく、コンテンツを削除するかどうかの決定権は各サーバの管理者にある。Diasporaプロジェクトのコアチームはサーバの管理者にイスラム国関連アカウン
