京都の銘菓「八ッ橋」の老舗の製造会社が、創業した年を300年以上前と商品などに表示しているライバルの老舗会社に対し、根拠がないと主張して表示の差し止めなどを求めた裁判で、京都地方裁判所は「消費者の誤解を招くとは言えず誤りだという証拠もない」として訴えを退けました。 京都市右京区に本社を持つ「井筒八ッ橋本舗」は、同じ老舗のライバル会社で京都市左京区に本社がある「聖護院八ッ橋総本店」が、創業年を元禄2年、1689年として商品などに表示しているのは根拠がなく、消費者を誤解させるなどと主張して、表示の差し止めと600万円の賠償を求めていました。 10日の判決で京都地方裁判所の久留島群一裁判長は「京都では『生八つ橋』など歴史が新しい菓子もよく売れており、歴史の古さは必ずしも消費行動を左右するとは言えない。問題とされた表示も江戸時代に創業したようであるとの認識をもたらす程度のものにすぎず、消費者の誤解
「からあげクン」が宇宙食に コンビニ商品で初認証
ローソンは１０日、人気商品「からあげクン」をフリーズドライした「スペースからあげクン」が、宇宙航空研究開発機構（ＪＡＸＡ）から「宇宙日本食」として認証を受けたと発表した。コンビニのオリジナル商品としては初めてで、日本人宇宙飛行士が国際宇宙ステーションに滞在する際に提供される予定。 食べる際に粉末などが飛び散って機器が故障するのを防ぐため、通常の半分の一口サイズにした。味はレギュラー味で、開封するとそのまま食べられる。店舗で販売する予定はないという。 「宇宙でもお肉を食べたい」との宇宙飛行士の声を受け、３年前に開発を開始。宇宙ステーションでの長期滞在中に日本食の味を楽しんでもらえるよう、１年半保存できるなどの試験をクリアした。
