鳥取県立博物館の地下室に氷温で保管されている「弥生人の脳」＝31日午後、鳥取市 　鳥取県立博物館は31日、2000年に青谷上寺地遺跡（鳥取市）で発掘された3点の「弥生人の脳」を昨年に続いて限定公開した。脳の神経組織の一部が残存しており、世界でも極めて珍しい例という。 この日は博物館で同遺跡に関する特別講座が開かれ、希望した13人が脳を見学。鳥取市の団体職員松本幸子さんは「めったにない機会で見に来た。古代に思いを巡らせた」と話した。 脳は博物館の地下室に、氷温で保管されている。脳の二つは男性、一つは女性のものと頭骨の形などから判明しているが、遺伝子情報などは現在の技術では解読できないことが分かっている。
