ヤフー株式会社は2012年2月28日、リスティング広告のAPIを活用するための技術支援プログラム「Yahoo!リスティング広告 デベロッパープログラム」の提供を開始した。 リスティング広告運用の高度化によるAPI利用ニーズの高まりやエンドユーザーへ提供されるソリューションの多様化に対応するため、従来のプログラムを刷新/強化したもの。 デベロッパープログラム参加企業は、スポンサードサーチ Ver.3に対応したスポンサードサーチAPIやデベロッパープログラムロゴ、専用ポータルサイトなどが利用できるようになる。 本プログラムは、APIを利用したサードパーティツールの開発・提供を検討中のサービスプロバイダー、Yahoo!リスティング広告の正規代理店が対象。 デベロッパーセンター http://listing.yahoo.co.jp/developercenter/

ヤフー、モバイル検索広告の掲載順を変更、「価格」のほか「品質」も基準に：NETMarketing Online(日経ネットマーケティング)
ヤフーは、携帯電話向けの検索連動型広告（リスティング広告）「スポンサードサーチ モバイル」で、広告の掲載順位決定方式を変更したと、2010年7月29日付けで発表した。既に28日から、従来のように広告主からの入札価格だけで順位を決める方式をとりやめ、新たに「広告の品質」を加味する方式に切り替えている。 ヤフーが「高品質」と判断した広告は、今までより低価格で上位に掲載できるようになる。検索結果に表示する広告の適合性を向上し、広告主により質の高い見込み客を誘導するため、と説明している。 広告の品質は、クリック率をはじめとした複数の要因によって判断する。ヤフーは8月中旬ごろから、広告主に対し、スポンサードサーチ モバイルの管理画面で、品質の目安となる「品質インデックス」を広告ごとに算出、表示する予定。 入札価格に広告の品質を加味して掲載順を決める方式は、パソコン向けスポンサードサーチでは提供済み。
