snmpをmuninで監視する
Muninはお手軽なので、 ルータなどもsnmp経由で監視してみたいところ。いろいろ試してみてようやく監視できるようになったので、メモ。 snmpのバージョンの問題。手元にあった機器は、snmp v1しか受け付けない。munin-node-configure をみると、--snmpversion なんてオプションがあるが、snmp_〜プラグインには、snmpのバージョンを設定するオプションなどない。versionを指定せずに Net::SNMP を呼び出しているため、デフォルトのsnmpv2cが設定される。そこで snmp_プラグインでsnmpのバージョンを指定するパッチ env.versionにsnmpv1, snmpv2c, snmpv3を指定することで、使用するsnmpのバージョンを指定する。 取り敢えずsnmp_if_err_用だが、snmp_〜も同様に変更する。たいしたことはやっ

有名っぽいが最近まで知らなかった便利ツール、コマンドを簡単に紹介。 Munin - サーバー監視/モニタリングツール MRTG入れようと面倒だなーと思ってた時に見つけた監視ツール。yum, aptならパッケージが用意されてるので、インストールがすごい簡単かつ設定(ほとんど)いらず。RRD Toolと連携+既存のツールから情報を集めて表示してくれる。デフォルトの監視項目がやたら多いしグラフも見やすいので、MRTGより全然いい。 参考サイト: http://gigazine.net/index.php?/news/comments/20060904_munin/ rdiff-backup - 差分バックアップツール rdiff-backupを使うとrsyncで差分バックアップ+毎回の差分を保存/管理してくれるので、３日前の状態に戻すとかができてしまう。普段rsyncでディレクトリ全体をバック
